OPZV BATTERIES (GEL ELECTROLYTE BATTERIES)
Our OPzV batteries are optimized for cycling operation and are particularly efficient in slow discharge. The balanced combination of their characteristics combined with high reliability make OPzV elements the ideal solution for a large number of applications with severe requirements, in particular for installations without personnel or with difficult access for which the assurance of continuity of the Food is essential.
Their design combining sealed lead-acid battery (VRLA) technology and die-cast tubular positive plates presents a set of exceptional advantages brought together in a single element. The use of a gel electrolyte means that there is no free acid in the element and it can therefore operate horizontally or vertically and be transported without fear of spillage. .
VRLA stands for Valve Regulated Lead Acid. Gas will escape through safety valves only in the event of an overload. VRLA batteries are maintenance free for life. An increased capacity for deep discharge as well as maintenance reduced to simple checking and cleaning of the elements make our OPzV range one of the products best suited to the storage of renewable energies.
